Our first stop will be Montalcino and its enchanting medieval town center, afterwards we will head to a winery for lunch and wine tastings. The starring roles, of course, are “Brunello di Montalcino”, a pure Sangiovese DOCG (controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin) wine, and “Nobile di Montepulciano”, also DOCG.
After lunch, we will set off for Pienza, where we will admire a breathtaking view over the valleys below and taste the famous Pecorino cheese produced in the area.
